When an alert is triggered, a loud, audible alarm sounds AND your Water Alarm Plus calls the phone number you programmed - up to 40 digits for calling card numbers and long distance calling. The person who receives the alert gets a voice message telling them that a water leak has been detected. The Water Alarm will continue calling until someone at the other end cancels the alert.
