Here's the economical intermediate freeze alarm (furnace temperature alarm) that monitors your home, greenhouse, wine cellar or seasonal property for power outages or furnace failure. And you don't pay any expensive, monthly monitoring fees.

Just set a temperature point to monitor, all the way down to 50-below F. if you want. (Choose from either Fahrenheit or Centigrade.) The new "Quick Status Check" feature give you the temperature reading when you dial in.

When an alert is triggered, your Freeze Alarm calls up to three phone numbers you choose. The person who receives the alert gets a voice message, describing the status of the power, temperature and backup battery supply. The Freeze Alarm will continue calling until someone at the other end cancels the alert.

You can have your Freeze Alarm call your home number, your cell phone, a neighbor or a caretaker when a problem occurs. You can also dial in to check temperature and battery status. Note: The Freeze Alarm FA-I-CCA will monitor one temperature setpoint. Normally, this would be a low temperature, in the case of a home owner monitoring a winter residence. However, through the use of a dip switch on the back of the unit, the FA-I-CCA can monitor a high temperture and trigger a dialout when the temperature goes above that level. This makes the Freeze Alarm FA-I-CCA a very cost-effective solution for monitoring a computer room.

The Deluxe Freeze Alarm lets you switch control of your heat or air conditioning system from one thermostat to another.
