Ergo Outdoor Autopetfeeder: Automatic pet feeder for outdoor feeding

This automatic pet feeder by Ergo Systems is designed specifically for outdoor use, in areas such as barns, garages, patios and even feeding ponds. Use it to feed dogs, cats, ferrets, horses or pond fish.

Like its indoor version (the Autopetfeeder), this feeder uses AC power, with a digital timer that provides up to eight feedings of dry pet food pellets per day. A clear storage reservoir makes it easy to see how much food you have left. An airtight cover helps keep the pet food fresh and makes refilling easy.

The auger is driven by a high-torque, 24VAC synchronous motor. Metal over molded self-lubricating nylon auger prevents jamming and provides a smoother and quieter performance.

It has a food agitator (on medium and large models) to prevent food from getting stale. A safety interlock switch and safety basket disables the feeder, in the event the food reservoir is removed.

Unlike vertical augers in other automatic feeders, this feeder has a horizontal feed auger system, which provides precise control over the feeding rate. The recommended food size for is up to 3/4" diameter (large model).

The feeder can be installed in any location, with mounting brackets, screw and T-nuts (included) for installation on any type of flooring.

A waterproofing cover is provided for outdoor use. This cover protects both the food and the mechanism of the feeder itself from water damage.

Digital timer features battery backup for programs, manual override switch, 8 program settings per day and daylight saving feature.

The feeder is a low voltage appliance (24VAC) that can be installed outdoor or in an indoor environment. Power transformer to convert 100VAC to 24VAC is included. Maximum power consumption is 12 watts.
