If you've got a lot of plants on a patio or deck, you know they can take gallons of water in the summer. That can mean filling a watering can and lugging it to your plants ... over and over again.
But here's a simple, handy solution to this problem from Claber, one of the world's leaders in watering products. The Aquapass hose reel casette connects a lightweight, 1/2"-diameter, 50-foot hose in a hand-held (or wall-mounted) hose reel and an easy-to-use spray nozzle (included) to any standard outside hose bibb faucet.
Or, using the optional Koala faucet connector (shown below at the right), you can connect the Aquapass to your kitchen faucet and use it to water plants around your houseor on a deck or patio. (The Koala faucet connector fits most standard shaped kitchen faucets, but it will not work with ones that integrate a large spray hoze or have a "shepherd's hook design. The faucet head needs to be less than 1-3/8" wide, and no more than 1-1/4" from the top to the bottom)
And, if you want to water your dog or other pet (llama? horse? gorilla?), the Koala connector lets you take advantage of the hot water in your tap to warm up the spray a bit. That's not a bad idea for sensitive plants either.
The detachable "Quick-Click" connectors that come with the Aquapass and the Koala faucet connector fit any standard garden hose or faucet. When you're through, just turn off the water and easily wind your hose back into the reel. It's great for  apartment dwellers or anyone who wants an easy solution to unsightly hose reels. And, if you're hosing off the deck of your boat, you'll appreciate the compact, space-saving features of the Aquapass.
The Aquapass includes a spray nozzle, wall-mounting bracket and "Quick Click" connnectors to make attaching extra hoses a snap. The handle makes it easy to carry it directly to you plants or garden.
