Claber timers are an alternative to those cheaply made watering hose timers that just don't do the job. The Claber Pratico water timer is the ideal product for those who need a programmable garden hose timer, but don’t like the annoyances of navigating modern age programmable devices. Programming this one is a simple as it gets. Simply go out and push the green button and your water will begin flowing. Within one hour, and when it is time to stop watering, push the red button and the water will stop. The Practico timer will remember the time you started, and the time you stopped and will repeat the cycle every 24 hours until you void the program by pushing both buttons simultaneously. It is that easy.

Or, if you want to program it without waiting for the cycle to end, just push the green button, then press and hold the red button. After 5 seconds, count the number of flashes on the red LED indicator light. Each flash represents one minute of watering time. When the number of flashes has reached the desired number of watering minutes, release the red button. Now your water will turn on each day at the same time for the number of minutes you set it for.

The Pratico sprinkler timer operates economically on one 9-Volt battery (not included) that can last an entire watering season. All electrical parts are completely sealed and watertight to prevent damage. The housing is UV stabilized to help prevent cracking and discoloration, even when the summer sun beats down on it. A built-in, washable screen filter traps harmful contaminants that could clog or damage the valves used by watering timers offered by other manufacturers. So, with proper cleaning, you can use this timer with any water source... even well water.
