Shipping and Handling

Shipping fees – UPS Ground Shipping is free for all orders that total over $75.00. Orders less than $75 ship UPS Ground for a flat rate of $7.99, regardless of the number of items ordered. Occasional exceptions are notes near the buy button of the exception items.

We encourage communications from our customers and we do our best to oblige special requests. We are a service oriented operation and we do all we can to treat our customers fairly and to respond to communications promptly. We generally ship our products anywhere in the contiguous U.S. by UPS Ground Service. For an additional charge, and at the customers request, we may ship USPS Priority Mail or via premium services such as next day air. Please send an email (to jerry@intwoplaces.com) prior to order placement for a quote on these special requests.

Due to numerous constraints beyond our control, we cannot always accept orders from outside the U.S., or from Alaska and Hawaii. Please contact us prior to order placement for information on shipping outside the contiguous U.S. Posted SHIPPING rates including the flat fee of $7.99 or free shipping DO NOT APPLY TO ORDERS SHIPPED OUTSIDE THE CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES.

It is our goal to ship your purchase within one business day of order receipt for items shipped from stock. We do have some items shipped directly from our suppliers and most of those ship within two days of order placement. Exceptions are those under the heading of "Utility Sinks" which usually ship within 2 to 5 days of order placement. We do monitor and follow up on orders placed with outside shippers through to the time they are actually shipped, and we do communicate with our customers when abnormal delays are encountered. On certain items that are shipped to our customers directly from our suppliers, those manufacturers ship via UPS, DHL, or FedEx. Since none of these deliver to a Post Office box number, be sure to include a street address when you check out.

On items that are not posted as “free shipping” but are being shipped to the contiguous United States, all applicable shipping and handling charges will appear in your electronic shopping cart at checkout. Shipping/handling charges will be calculated at the time you make a purchase and will be shown on your order during the checkout process. If you want to see what the shipping costs would be prior to placing your actual order, just go through the checkout process but "chicken out" before you hit the "submit" button. Your sale will not go through until you click on the final "submit" button.

Unfortunately, we cannot always keep all products in stock at all times. IF ITEMS YOU ORDER ARE OUT OF STOCK, OR IF THERE ARE ANY UNFORESEEN DELAYS IN THE PROCESSING AND SHIPPING OF YOUR ORDER, WE WILL BE VERY PROMPT IN NOTIFYING YOU BY EMAIL AND OFFER YOU THE CHANCE TO CANCEL YOUR ORDER. Out-of-stock items will be shipped as soon as they become available on a first-ordered, first-shipped basis.

We ask for your E-mail address so we can keep you informed of during the shipping process. You may cancel an order for items that have not yet been shipped by sending an email to jerry@intwoplaces.com. However, we cannot accept a cancellation for an order that has already shipped (see return policy for how to handle this situation).
