This Web site grew out of the inspiration of an owner of seasonal property, who saw the many problems that people like him faced ... managing a home from a distance against the threats of freezing, water damage, and dried out gardens.

And that's still the idea behind intwoplaces.com. We offer products that help you take care of your property and your busy life, even when you have to be somewhere else.

Since the beginning, intwoplaces.com has expanded to include a wider variety of automation products, with a conscious effort to provide personalized customer service — the kind of service we, ourselves, expect but don't often receive these days. That's our pledge to you.

Unlike many larger companies, when you call or email us, you will get a timely personalized response.  If you have a question about a product, we are here to answer it for you.  When you order through us, your order will be monitored and followed all the way through to the time it ships, regardless of whether we are shipping direct from our stock, or if we are having the item shipped from a supplier.  And we do all we can to make certain that all orders are shipped very promptly, or at least as promised.    And, unlike larger companies, when things go wrong with your order, and sometimes they do, we are here to do all we can to remedy the problem.

Conversely, unlike many smaller companies you may encounter on the internet, we are not running this business as an evening job or as a part-time venture.  This is what we do for a living and we are doing all we can to grow the business by generating referrals and repeat customers.

These are all just “old fashioned” business values, and those are the values we embrace and operate under.
